Iran’s ‘Funfair’ to go on screen at Sao Paulo Short filmfest

The Sao Paulo Int’l Short filmfest in Brazil is to screen Iran’s ‘Funfair’.

The Sao Paulo International Short Film Festival (ISFF) in Brazil has scheduled to screen Iranian acclaimed short title ‘Funfair’.

Directed by Kaveh Mazaheri, the flick will be shown at the 31st edition of the Brazilian event (Festival Internacional de Curtas Metragens de Sao Paulo in Portuguese).

The 15-minute flick narrates the story of a young married couple and their 5-year-old kid; while they are suffering some financial problems.

Majid, a financially struggling man, comes up with a ploy in order to better the life of his wife, Sara.

But, will he be able to improve the situation? Will Sara have the patience needed?

Sonia Sanjari, Soroush Saeedi and Artin Rabiee are the cast members of the flick.

‘Funfair’ has been screened at various global events and succeeded to take home a number of awards.

The ISFF has a non-competitive nature aiming to elevate the cultural exchange between Latin American and international productions.
